Rainy day in gatlinburg, tn

Just got done with the aquarium and now hanging out in the cabin waiting for the rain stop.

San Antonio 2

Remember the Alamo? Downtown San Antonio is really nice. We walked along the river walk and managed to not fall in. We ate dinner that night at casa rio which is a mexican place on the river. Followed that up with some fudge at one of those candy shops.

The next day we attempted to go to sea world but the rain stopped those plans. Instead we went to a childrens museum in downtown SA. Another cool place for the kids.

Today we packed up the car and made our way to sea world. The weather was perfect. The pic above is Ashley and I on the big log flume splash ride. This is when we first got to the top. As soon as we started moving Ashley had second thoughts... The ride takes a pic of the flume before we hit the water. She was in full panic, eyes closed, and clutching on to me.

Now we're on the road heading home. Be in tennessee 2 days from now.

San antonio zoo

The komodo dragon was huge. Landen squashed a poor butterfly after I took this photo.

Breakfast buffet

The hotels free continental breakfast turned into a riot when they ran out of plates, coffee, and extremely mediocre donuts. I managed to escape with a few scraps to supply to my hungry family.

Baylor bear

The kids wanted to see the little baylor bear in waco. Next stop: the dr pepper museum.

Snow

Better late than never. Hopefully it will still be there in the morning.
